6 More iPhone & iPad Apps for Kids

Want to enjoy eating out, even with your little one? Distract kids of every age with more iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications and game. Plus, check out super-fun apps for little kids

01. For ages 1 and up Animal Colors flashcards
Aimed at babies and toddlers. A series of interactive screens succeeds each other, with a picture of an animal, a voice that speaks its name, and simple animations and sounds every time the screen is touched.

02. For ages 2 and up Shape Builder
One iTunes reviewer shouted, "This App rocks!" The easy-to-move shapes are a perfect way to entertain little ones who drag the puzzle pieces into place. Including letters, numbers, and a wide array of pictures -- the app tells you what you've created once you're done.

03. For ages 2 and up Bubble Pop
Every kid we know loves popping bubble wrap, and just about every mom we know has reservations about the potential choking hazards. Voila: a safe electronic version. You'll still get the popping sound, and even get scored on how many bubbles you break.

04. For ages 3 and up Scoops
Is there anything better than ice cream? How about ice cream that doesn't leave a sticky mess?  This game of towering ice cream scoops lets you tilt your screen left or right to keep the ice cream from falling. Avoid the veggies and stack similar colors together for bonus points

05. For ages 3 and up Giraffe's Matching Zoo
Matching games are like brain food for kids: a healthy way to strengthen those memory muscles. Now your kids can match a bunch of cuddle-worthy animals without having to arrange (or clean up) dozens of cards

06. For ages 4 and up Paper Toss
Like basketball without the sweat, this game of throwing paper into the trash can is good for older kids. With measurements explaining how far away you are, our staffer added, "It actually helps teach math skills and angles." But be warned: this game is addicting for grown ups too.
